The changing weather in combination with the mountainous landscape makes Scotland a top destination for my type of landscape photography. With the amount of rain, hail and wind it often makes it challenging to photograph, but that’s exactly what makes it such a nice destination. Along with the changing weather also comes the spectacular skies, what always is such a welcome ingredient for landscape photographers. The photos in this gallery are made on the Isle of Skye and Isle of Harris which are both part of the highlands of Scotland. Several times I visited these islands and still come back annually, but always in the autumn season so you have a guarantee for rough weather.
